The label is high concept to say the least, transforming salvage clothing into new, avant garde pieces and turning runway shows into quirky happenings. At last night's unveiling of the Spring 2007 collection, waiters roamed with buckets full of Budweiser and guests gazed at the fashions from runway-side recliners. The fashion, meanwhile, struck an eclectic, childlike vibe, with models wearing flat sneakers and toting stuffed animals like the street "Lolitas" of Japan, and boxy, asymmetrical dresses, wide cummerbund-like belts, and 1970s-era pants jumpers.
